We are all made up of energy & sometimes that energy becomes blocked due to stress, trauma or everyday life challenges. Reiki works by gently clearing energetic blockages, balancing our life force energy & stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki healing focuses on the well-being of the whole person – mind, body & soul.
During a LRW session, healing hands hover or lightly touch the body to scan, identify & release stagnant energy. Clients often report flowing into a light meditative state & feeling a deep level of calming relaxation. Following the session, questions & follow up suggestions are always discussed.
LRW owner, Ashley Lightsey-Thompson, is a Certified Reiki Master Practitioner + Teacher registered with The International Association of Reiki Professionals. She's also a member of the Reiki Healing Association; The Center for Reiki Research & the Reiki Rays Global Healing Community. Ashley holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology & Child Development from Michigan State University, with 15 years of social work & healing experience. LRW Reiki Certification Program
Ashley is a Certified Master Teacher of Usui Reiki & would be honored to guide you on your Reiki journey. Usui Reiki is a Japanese form of hands-on healing that was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui. The LRW certification program offers the following Usui Reiki course levels:
- Novice Level I – Completion of this level will allow the student to practice Reiki on self, friends & family
- Professional Level II – Completion of level I is required to take this course. This level will allow the student to offer Reiki healing professionally to clients
- Master Teacher Level III – Completion of level I & II is required to take this course. This level will allow the student to become a Reiki Teacher & Master level practitioner
LRW Reiki Course Details - A brief phone or in-person consultation with Ashley is required before booking your classes
- Course fee is $400 per level (discounted offers are available on Groupon)
- 50% of the total course amount is due to book & the other half is due when we meet
- Final payments can be made via Paypal (@lightseyav) or CashApp ($lightseyreikiworks)
- Each class should take 5 - 6 hours to complete & includes Reiki attunement + certificate for that level
- In class the applicable Usui Reiki manual, LRW gift bag + journal will be provided
